Ingredients:
200g Sliced Paneer
2 Sliced capsicum
1 Chopped onion
2 Chopped tomato
2 Green chilly
1 inch Ginger
3 Garlic cloves
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Soya sauce
2 tbsp Tomato sauce
1 tbsp Vinegar
1 tsp Red chili powder
2 tbsp Corn flour
1 Egg
Refined oil or soybean oil
Instructions :
1. In a bowl, beat one egg and add corn flour. Mix well until the mixture becomes smooth.
2. Dip the sliced paneer into the egg and corn flour mixture. Coat well and keep it aside.
3. In a wok, heat some refined oil or soybean oil. Once hot, add the coated paneer from the wok and keep it aside.
4. In the same wok, add some more oil and heat it. Add chopped ginger and garlic, and sauté it for a minute.
5. Add chopped onion and green chili to the wok and sauté for 2 minutes.
6. Add sliced capsicum and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
7. Add chopped tomato to the wok and sauté for 2 minutes.
8. Add soya sauce, tomato sauce vinegar, red chili powder, sugar, and salt to the wok. Mix well and let the sauce cook for 3-4 minutes.
9. Add the fried paneer to the wok and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes.
10. The chilly paneer is ready to serve. Garnish with some chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
Note: You can adjust spiciness according to your taste. If you want it less spicy, reduce the amount of red chili powder and green chili and you are good to go.
